With so many leaks, it seems like the Pixel 7 series is already here. Here is some more leaked info – the battery life of the new models has been significantly improved over the 6 series. In addition, the cameras on the two models will be different from last year’s.
Google Pixel 7 & Google Pixel 7 Pro:
The Google Pixel 6 series will include two new flagships with the new Google Pixel 7 & Google Pixel 7 Pro. Both the new Google Pixel 7 & Google Pixel 7 Pro looks identical in terms of design and only differ in terms of internals. The new Google Pixel 7 measures 8.2mm thick whereas the Google Pixel 7 Pro with 8.9mm.
Both the new Google Pixel 7 & Google Pixel 7 Pro comes with a huge camera bump on the back that looks ugly. The Google Pixel 7 series will arrive in three colors Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam, and Stormy Black. Pixel 7 Pro weighs 210g whereas Pixel 7 at 207g.

The new Google Pixel 7 will sport 6.3 inches FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate gOLED flat punch-hole display. The new Google Pixel 7 Pro sports a larger 6.7 inches QHD+ 120Hz refresh rate LTPO curved display. Both of them come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It also gets HDR10+ support.
The new Google Pixel 7 series is powered by the new Tensor G2 SoC which comes with a Titan M2 security chip. Both the devices come with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.
Google Pixel 7 features dual rear cameras whereas the new Google Pixel 7 Pro comes with a triple camera setup. The Google Pixel 7 comes with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.85 aperture coupled with 12MP ultra-wide shooter with f/2.2 aperture (106-degree FoV) and LED flash. The Google Pixel 7 Pro features the same two sensors as above but includes an additional 48MP telephoto camera. The ultra-wide sensor of 12MP comes with 125 degrees FoV. The Pixel 7 Pro also features 5x optical zoom. Both the Pixel 7 & 7 Pro can shoot 4K videos at 60fps.
The Pixel 7 series will feature the 10.8MP selfie shooter with a 4K video recording feature. The Pixel 7 comes with 97 degrees FoV whereas the Pixel 7 Pro with 93 degrees FoV.
The new Pixel 7 series will also feature IP68-rated dust and water resistance and also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Pixel 7 Pro comes with a new Cirrus Logic CS35L41 amp. Both the Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro also comes with Stereo speakers.
Pixel 7 Pro will have the same 5,000mAh battery capacity as its predecessor – but it will also offer 72 hours of battery life with Extreme Battery Saver.
Although the Google Pixel 7 will have a smaller battery than its predecessor – 4,355 mAh versus 4,614 mAh – it can last up to 72 hours with Extreme Battery Saver, 50% longer than the 48 hours advertised for the Pixel 6.
Both of them come with 30W fast wired charging and 21W/23W wireless charging support. It runs on the latest Android 13 OS out of the box.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM, Wifi-6E, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2LE, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, 5G with mmWave support.
