With the Pixel 7 series now available, there are only two Pixel devices left in rumor – the foldable, which may or may not be a myth, and the next “a” phone. According to Amazon, it won’t be too long before it arrives. Currently, users can subscribe for the upcoming announcement on the online retail giant’s website.

There is no word on when the Pixel 7a will be unveiled, but it shouldn’t take long. In July of this year, the Pixel 6a was released, months after the 6 and 6 Pro. A redesigned “a” phone wouldn’t be out of place given that Google has a new Tensor chip and a new “visor” camera island.

Rumors claim that the 7a will launch in early 2023, so it may be a while before we see the device. The same rumor also claimed that Google had ordered 4 million “a” phones, so it must be very confident.

The Pixel 7a is known by its codename, Felix – the Pixel 7 is Panther, the 7 Pro is Cheetah, and the 7a is Felix. The Pixel 7a should have a smaller display than the vanilla Pixel 7, so it should be 6.0-6.1″.

There are multiple Pixel 7a models, which Amazon refers to as the “Pixel 7a family”. We already have 5G on the 5a and 6a, so we don’t have to wait for a Pixel 7a or 7a XL.

As of now, we can only subscribe to Amazon and wait for the retailer to reveal some details about the Pixel 7a.
