The Acer Swift Edge has been launched in the global market. With its 16-inch OLED display, it is the lightest laptop in the world. It boasts top-of-the-line specifications. Swift Edge is designed to maximize the productivity and creativity of a modern hybrid workforce, according to Acer.
Acer Swift Edge features a 16-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 4K. With 92 percent screen-to-body ratio and 500 nits brightness, it offers 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Additionally, the display is certified by TUV Rheinland Eyesafe and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. Acer Swift Edge features an alloy that makes it 20 percent lighter and two times stronger than regular aluminum. With a weight of only 1.16 kg, it is both slim and lightweight.
There is a backlit keyboard and an FHD webcam on the Acer Swift Edge. For security, a fingerprint reader is also included.
The Acer Swift Edge is powered by AMD Ryzen PRO and Ryzen 6000 series processors. AMD Radeon graphics are onboard. It packs up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. This device is equipped with Microsoft’s Pluton security processor to prevent sophisticated attacks.
It has two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a headphone jack, WiFi-6E, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
Beginning this month, the device will be available in North America for $1,499.
