A new Vivo smartphone has been unveiled in Vietnam called the Vivo Y22s. The company also plans to launch the standard Vivo Y22, according to leaks last month.
As reported by the publication, which cites tipster Paras Guglani as its source, the Vivo Y22 will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display. It is most likely that an LCD panel will be used.
According to its Geekbench listing, the Vivo Y22 will have an Helio G85 processor and 4GB of RAM. An internal storage capacity of 64 GB and a microSD card slot will be available. Geekbench also revealed that the device runs Android 12. With virtual RAM, the Y22 will offer smoother performance when launching apps.
On the back, there will be a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera. A camera with 8 megapixels will be available for selfies. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. According to the leak, the device doesn’t have fast-charging capabilities.
Vivo Y22 is expected to be priced around Rs 12,000/- in India. According to reports, the device will go official in the country next week. A Starlight Blue and a Green version will be available.
