Xiaomi will soon release a new budget Redmi phone. Redmi A1, not to be confused with the quite old Xiaomi Mi A1 (Mi 5x), has just been leaked extensively. Xiaomi has just released an official teaser for the device, along with some high-quality renders showing the device in soft pastel colors and with a leather texture finish on the back.

The new Redmi A1 will sport 6.51 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.
It features an 8MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS without any custom skin on top. The device measures 9.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.
