POCO has now finally launched the new POCO M5 in India. The POCO M5 is the successor to last year’s launched POCO M4. Again the POCO M5 will be going on sale via Flipkart and all leading offline retailers in India. It will go on sale from Sept 13 at 1PM.
Design:
On the front of the POCO M5, there is a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, as well as a chin below the screen. A fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button and volume rocker on the right edge. There is a leather finish on the back of the phone, making it stand out. On the top portion of the back panel, there is a horizontal housing that houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. The phone comes in Green, Yellow, and Black colors.

POCO M5 will sport 6.55 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate support. It comes with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The new POCO M5 features a triple camera 50MP main sensor with dual 2MP depth plus macros sensor. It comes with a 8MP selfie shooter under the waterdrop notch.
The POCO M5 will run on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and comes with 18W fast charging support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio, and Bluetooth 5.1. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top.
The POCO M5 will cost Rs.14,499/- for 6GB+128GB & 4GB+64GB at Rs.12,499/- in India. During BBD sales the POCO M5 cost Rs.10,999/- & Rs.12,999/- respectively. Also, flat Rs.1500?- cashback for ICICI and Axis Bank Credit card users.
