The OnePlus Nord Watch will be the first Nord-branded smartwatch to launch in the Indian market. OnePlus Nord Watch India’s launch date has not yet been announced. OnePlus has now begun revealing the specifications of the Nord Watch ahead of its launch. According to the latest teasers, the OnePlus Nord Watch will have an AMOLED display with 500nits of peak brightness. Nord Watch’s display size and resolution have also been confirmed by the company.
OnePlus announced that its Nord smartwatch will feature a 1.78-inch AMOLED display. The display panel has a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
On OnePlus’s microsite for the Nord Watch India launch, other teasers suggest the upcoming device might include multiple watch faces and a high refresh rate. As OnePlus teased ahead of the launch, the smartwatch will also offer step and heart rate tracking.
Nord Watch is reportedly going to be accompanied by an app called N-Health developed by OnePlus. It is also said that the OnePlus Nord Watch will cost less than Rs 5,000 in India. The Watch will compete against Amazfit, Realme, Redmi, Boat, and Noise, if true.
It will take OnePlus until September 28 to reveal the tracking features, display refresh rate, and other specifications of the OnePlus Nord Watch. It is expected that the OnePlus Nord Watch will be available in India after September 28.
