There are a number of affordable high-end smartphones in the iQOO Neo lineup. The Neo 6 was launched earlier this year, and now its successor, the Neo 7, has been revealed.
Digital Chat Station recently leaked the latest specifications for the phone, detailing details on its internal hardware and even its camera module. Earlier this month, the Chinese smartphone maker’s Neo 7 model was spotted on the 3C certification website with the model number V2231A. According to this listing, the smartphone will support 120W fast charging, an upgrade over 80W fast charging on the previous generation Neo 6.
Weibo tipster reports that the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. On the front, an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate is expected. The screen size will probably be 6.78 inches. The tipster also claimed the Neo 7 would feature an upgraded camera. At the back, it will have a 50MP primary camera.
An IMX766V sensor is reportedly used in this camera, which is also present in the Chinese version of the iQOO 8 Pro. There might also be a 12MP portrait telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. For now, take this report with a pinch of salt as it is still unconfirmed; stay tuned for further updates.
