The Honor tablet will return to the Indian market. Honor has begun teasing the arrival of the Honor Pad 8 in the country. Flipkart has put up a microsite revealing some specifications of the upcoming offering. The shopping portal also confirms that the tablet is available. We expect that the Indian variant of the Honor Pad 8 will have the same specifications as its global counterpart.
Honor Pad 8 features a 12-inch display with 2K resolution and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. In the tablet’s back panel, there is a pill-shaped cutout for the camera, and there is a 5MP camera on both sides. The device is equipped with eight speakers tuned by DTS Audio.
The Honor Pad 8 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 7,250mAh battery unit powers the device and supports fast charging at 22.5W. MagicUI 6.1 runs on top of Android 12.
In the Indian market, the Honor Pad 8 will compete against devices such as the Realme Pad X, OPPO Pad Air, Xiaomi Pad 5, and others. In the coming days, we will learn more about the brand’s tablet.
