A consumer’s guide to identifying counterfeit JBL products
- The products of HARMAN are counterfeited and sold for much lower prices and of lower quality than they should be. A genuine JBL or Infinity product is made with high-quality materials and designed to deliver a unique listening experience.
- Infinity and JBL products do not have the same cosmetic details.
- Check the packaging and logo placement/color. Packaging is typically made of flimsy materials, missing important details like certifications, places of manufacture, addresses, and trademark/copyright information. There is a slight difference in logo placement and the color is not the same as the genuine logo.
-
Packages/products may be lightweight, smell of chemicals, or have chipped paint.
-
Make sure the seller has a good reputation. Take a look at customer reviews.
- Always look for an authorized retailer/dealer certificate when identifying an authorized seller.
