On October 6, Google will launch its big hardware device, and the company is currently preparing for the event. A video showcasing the Pixel 7 Pro’s design is the latest installment in Google’s teaser campaign.
Our first look at the phone includes all three of its colorways, which have already been confirmed. Obsidian (aka black/dark grey), Snow (aka white), and Hazel (aka neither black nor white).
This video teaser helps keep interest rates high. Earlier today, a comprehensive Pixel 7 Pro leak spilled all the beans. This device will be powered by the Tensor G2 SoC and have 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Three cameras will be mounted on the rear of the device: a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 48 MP telephoto camera equipped with a Samsung GM1 sensor rather than last year’s Sony IMX586 sensor. With a new sensor (the Samsung 3J1), the selfie camera will have 11 MP resolution and autofocus.
It’s expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as last year. Likewise, the battery will be 5,000 mAh and support fast wired charging at 30W and wireless charging at Qi standard.
