Xiaomi Kuwait’s Instagram post a few days ago featured a Redmi Pad promo image, which was later removed. WinFuture published renders and specifications of Redmi’s first tablet today.

Specs:

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad comes with a 10.61-inch LCD panel that supports 2000 x 1200 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 90 Hertz. It features a brightness of 400 candelas and a 10-bit color depth. A 1500:1 contrast ratio is specified.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core SoC, fabricated by TSMC on a 6-nanometer scale. ARM Cortex-A76 cores run at maximum speeds of 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores run at maximum speeds of 2.0 GHz on the chip. Redmi Pads come with 3GB/4GB RAM and 64/128 GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus, and another with 8MP and a wide field of view of 105 degrees with FocusFrame technology on the front. With FocusFrame, you can use a wider field of view if several people are sitting in front of the device.

There is an 8000 mAh battery on the Xiaomi Redmi Pad, which should last for at least a day. The device comes with 18W fast charging support, but Xiaomi will offer a 22W fast charger in the retail box. The device weighs 445 grams and is 7 millimeters thick.
You can choose from Graphite Gray, Moonlight Silver, or Mint Green for the metal back. The audio is played back by four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. Android 12 is used in the tablet version with an adapted MIUI interface. As of now, there is no information about the rumored 5G version of the Redmi Pad.
