Apple has also launched an all-new redesigned iPhone 14 Pro lineup this year. After almost five years of delay, we finally have some change in terms of display design. So let’s start with the most powerful iPhone ever.

Apple’s top-end iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max. The new iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max will arrive in graphite, gold, silver, and sierra blue. The new iPhone 14 Pro will sport smaller 6.1 inches OLED display whereas the iPhone 14 Pro Max with larger 6.7 inches OLED display. Both of them come with a pill-shaped notch over the top carrying the Face ID.
The new iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max will come with new Super Retina XDR display along with the resolution of 2796*1290p (iPhone 14 Pro Max) & 2556*1179p (iPhone 14 Pro) & new protection on top with Corning’s latest Victus glass. It comes with a ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The new notch feature which takes the space between the pill is called Dynamic Island. This space is been now utilized to show the notifications like Music players, Navigation, Message, or any app that uses GPS almost everything. Also features Always On Display to get the latest update without even touching the screen.
It features stainless steel once again and comes with a glass back. Both phones do come with an IP68 rating making them dust and water-resistant.
Probably the iPhone 14 Pro series too look identical to iPhone 14 but with an additional camera on the back. The iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max measures slimmer at 7.4mm thick. Further, iPhone 13 Pro Max weighs 189g and the iPhone 13 Pro weighs 228g.
Processor:
The new iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max comes powered by the world’s fastest Apple A16 Bionic SoC. The new Apple A16 Bionic is built on the TSMC 4nm process that gives a great performance. The 6-core CPU delivers a 40 percent jump in performance, and the 5-core GPU delivers an 80 percent leap in graphics performance compared to the previous generation of an iPad mini. Advanced machine learning (ML) functions are powered by a 16-core Neural Engine and new ML accelerators in the CPU, delivering 2x faster ML tasks than its predecessor.
Cameras:
The iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max will come with triple rear cameras with the main sensor, ultra-wide sensor & telephoto lens with LED flash. It also includes the LiDAR sensor from the iPad Pro which will improve Auto Focus in low light. iPhone 14 Pro & Pro Max features a quad-pixel 48MP Wide main sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 120-degrees FOV, 13mm focal length, Dual OIS along with 12MP f/2.0 (f/2.2 on Pro Max) aperture telephoto lens with 2x zoom.
The iPhone 14 Pro features 52mm equivalent and 6x optical zoom whereas the iPhone 14 Pro Max with 65mm with 6x optical zoom. The device will also get Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 4, and improved Night Mode. It will also support Dolby Vision HDR video recording capabilities. Apple iPhone 14 Pro series will also include improved telephoto zoom, macro photography, Photographic Styles, Cinematic mode, as well as ProRes and Dolby Vision video
Both iPhones ship with 12MP f/2.2 aperture selfie cameras with FaceID support.
Connectivity & Battery:
Both the devices will come with Magsafe charging aka 15W wireless charging support. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will boast 5G connectivity exclusive to US models & will support the faster mmWave standard. Apple will introduce Smart Data Mode which toggles between 4G and 5G based on app bandwidth to increase the battery life.
The connectivity options include Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Dual SIM with 5G support. Apple will not include the charger and earphones along with the new iPhone 14 series. iPhone 14 Pro comes with a 3095 mAh battery whereas Pro max with a larger 4325 mAh battery. It comes with 25W fast charge support. t runs on iOS 15 out of the box. The device also comes with Emergency SOS via satellite.
Pricing:
The new iPhone 14 Pro price starts at $999 (Rs.73,000/-) for base 128GB & $1099 (Rs.80,500/-) for iPhone 13 Pro Max with 128GB. Both devices will come in three storage options with 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB. The new iPhone 14 Pro Max & the iPhone 13 Pro will go on sale from Sept 16.
