Today, Apple announced Apple Watch Ultra, bringing a new bold design and a wide range of features designed for endurance, exploration, and adventure. Featuring a 49mm titanium case and flat sapphire front crystal, Apple Watch Ultra offers the largest and brightest display Apple Watch has ever offered. Instant access to a wide range of useful features is available through a customizable Action button. As the most battery-efficient Apple Watch, the Ultra can last up to 36 hours under normal conditions.
The battery life can also be extended to 60 hours with a new low-power setting, ideal for long-term use. With a built-in compass and space for up to eight complications, the Wayfinder watch face was designed specifically for the larger Apple Watch Ultra display. With Apple Watch Ultra, three new bands are available – Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, and Ocean Band – that offer unique design features for a secure and comfortable fit.
Water sports like kitesurfing and wakeboarding, as well as recreational scuba diving to 40 meters with the new Oceanic+ app, can be enjoyed with Apple Watch Ultra. Apple Watch Ultra is certified to WR100 to support these underwater adventures. A depth gauge that recreational divers rely on around the world is also certified by EN 13319, an internationally recognized standard for dive accessories.
From freezing cold mountains at -4°F (-20°C) to scorching desert heat at 131°F (55°C), the on-wrist operating temperature makes exploration easier.
