As part of Vivo’s Y-series, the Y02s, Y35, and Y16 are scheduled for launch. A recent listing of the Y16 was found on certification platforms such as the FCC and BIS. Appuals has recently revealed the entire specifications and official renders of the Y16.
Vivo Y16:
The new Vivo Y16 will again feature a waterdrop display on the front with thicker bezels. The back features a rectangular camera module carrying dual sensors with LED flash. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It arrives in two colors Black and Gold. It measures 8.19mm thick and weighs 183g.
The new Vivo Y16 will sport 6.51 inches HD+ display on the front with 60Hz refresh rate support. The Vivo Y16 is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 64GB/128GB internal storage. It comes with dedicated microSD card slot support.
The Vivo Y16 features a 13MP main & 2MP depth or macro sensor with LED flash. It comes with a 5MP selfie shooter placed under a waterdrop notch. The new Vivo Y16 packs a 5000 mAh battery with probably 10W fast charge support. It runs on Android 12 OS with FunTouch OS 12 on top.
The connectivity option includes a micro USB port, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.2.
