OPPO introduced the OPPO Band 2, successor to the OPPO Band introduced in 2020, along with the OPPO Watch 3 series. Throughout, this has been improved. As well as Enco Air 2i, the company introduced budget TWS earbuds.
OPPO Band 2:
The OPPO Band 2 has a large 1.57-inch AMOLED display, which is comparable to the display on some smartwatches. The brightness of the display is 500nits. It looks like a premium smart band from a design perspective. No buttons are present on either side of its squircle design. The device measures 45.3 x 29.1 x 10.6mm and weighs only 33 grams.
Including the custom multi-function faces, the band supports 200 band faces. Users can also match the band’s face with their outfits using the built-in AI wear dial 2.0. It is also equipped with more than 100 sports modes, such as Racing, Workout and Swimming. Also included is an e-sports mode, which is highly demanded.
With 8MB PSRRAM and 128MB Nand storage, the OPPO Band 2 is powered by an Apollo 3.5 processor. There is a 200mAh battery inside the fitness band, which can last for up to 14 days. Fast magnetic charging is supported by the band. Additionally, the new OPPO band monitors heart rate 24 hours a day, tracks sleep, and more. The band is also waterproof to 5ATM.
The OPPO Band 2 also has an NFC variant that supports offline payments with Alipay and WeChat.
Pre-orders for the OPPO Band 2 are now available in China. OPPO Band 2 Standard costs 249 Yuan (Rs.2,999/-), while Band 2 NFC costs 279 Yuan (Rs.3,300/-). On August 19, the band will be available in China.
