OxygenOS 13 was announced today alongside the OnePlus 10T. With OxygenOS 13, Android 13 will be accompanied by a new interface and features. In addition to the OnePlus 10 Pro, the OnePlus 10T, and the flagship line down to the OnePlus 8, as well as the Nord line down to the Nord CE 2 Lite, no word has been given on availability for the Nord 2 Lite, Nord N100, Nord N200 5G, Nord N10 5G, or Nord N20 5G.
The new design of OxygenOS 13 is based on water. A soft, fluid visual style with rounded edges is OnePlus’ Aquamorphic Design. Throughout the day, the colors of the system will darken. It will feature Bitmoji and Spotify integration.
There will be a lot more similarities between OxygenOS 13 and ColorOS. An Oppo feature that was directly adapted is the Sidebar Toolbox, which is a collection of apps that you can access quickly from the edge of your screen.
With OxygenOS 13 and Android 13, you’ll get spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support, Nearby Share improvements, and App Streaming. Files and documents can be stored in Private Safe 2.0 safely without being accessible by third parties.
A release date for OxygenOS 13 has not been announced, but the beta will be available “soon” for the OnePlus 10 Pro.
