On September 7, Apple is scheduled to host its Far Out event for the iPhone 14 launch. Only a few days remain until Apple announces its new iPhone models at its September event. A new report suggests that Apple’s new smartwatch model, the Apple Watch Pro, will also launch at the event. Mac Otakara, a Japanese website, also revealed some Watch Pro specs and features.
According to a new report, Apple will launch its first Pro Watch at its iPhone 14 launch event. There have also been rumours about the smartwatch’s specs. According to Mac Otakara, the Watch Pro will have a 47mm case, which is the largest case on any Apple smartwatch to date. With the latest Apple Watch Series 7, you can choose a 41mm or 45mm case.
It is reported that the Watch Pro will have a 1.99-inch display. It was previously reported by Bloomberg that the Watch Pro would have a flat display, while the existing Watch models would have slightly curved displays.
It is said that Apple will offer a flat display on the Pro model in order to improve durability and market it as a rugged device for outdoor activities and extreme sports.
It is also possible that the Watch Pro will come with a titanium casing. Also, the larger form factor may be able to accommodate a larger battery. A single charge of the new Watch Pro could last more than a day thanks to the new Low Power Mode. A new S8 chip is also rumoured to power the device. Apple Watch details are expected to surface soon.
