OnLeaks shared renders of the Motorola Moto Edge (2022), codenamed Dubai+, a sequel to the Edge and Edge (2021). The leaks have now released official renders that better represent the final design (though the launch date is unknown). A few rumored specifications are also included.
On the front, there will be a 32MP selfie camera and a smaller 6.5″ P-OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
According to the renders, there will be a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an ultra-wide sensor of 13MP, and a depth camera of 2MP on the back. The Edge (2021) will not return with its telephoto module or its 108MP main camera.
According to reports, the 2022 phone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6879 processor instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7-series. The phone is said to have an octa-core CPU (2x Cortex-A78 + 6x A55) and a Mali-G79 GPU. It will be equipped with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. A 6,000mAh battery will power the phone, along with an unspecified fast charging system.
At the last minute, the X30 Pro was canceled (alongside the new Razr foldable) without explanation.
