iQOO introduced the Neo 6 in December 2021 in China. The iQOO Neo 7 is rumoured to be in development. Rumours about the Neo 7 are slowly leaking out. According to a new leak from Panda is Bald, the device will have a better display.
iQOO Neo 6 came with an E4 AMOLED display. According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 7 will feature an E5 AMOLED panel with DC dimming support. It is rumoured to be a tweaked version of the iQOO 10 5G, which also has an E5 AMOLED display.
With its 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display, the iQOO 10 5G offers FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,500 nits of brightness. Similar displays could be found on the iQOO Neo 7.
Xiaomi’s 12 Pro with a Dimensity 9000+ chip was launched before the iQOO Neo 7 (name not yet confirmed). Even so, it will feature a 4nm SoC with a 3.2 GHz CPU that will perform outstandingly.
A valid question is also whether iQOO will bring the phone in this configuration to the global market – after all, the Neo 6 sold overseas differs from the Neo 6 sold at home.
It is possible that the alleged iQOO Neo 7 will have the same specifications as the iQOO 10, which debuted in China in July. Neo 7 could be equipped with the Dimensity 9000+ chip instead of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The Neo 7 has not yet been confirmed by iQOO. In China, the Neo 7 may debut later this month or in September.
