Redmi’s new line-up of budget smartphones, the Redmi 11 Prime series, will launch in India on September 6. There will be two new Redmi smartphones released, according to the company. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G will also come in a 4G version. Redmi has hinted at the features and look of both phones.
The phones are expected to go on sale during the Mi Sale for Diwali. It has not yet been confirmed by Xiaomi whether the sale will take place. Meanwhile, the Redmi phone’s design has been hinted at. Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
In addition, there will be two cameras at the rear. The 4G version, however, will have triple cameras on the rear. Here are the features, specifications, and other details of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G before it launches.
On the basis of the design that was teased, the phone is probably a rebranded Redmi Note 11E 5G from China. With a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, the phone will have a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen. The back of the phone will be equipped with two cameras, a 50MP primary and a 2MP secondary. The phone will also feature a waterdrop notch at the top of the display to accommodate the 5MP front camera.
The device will support 18W rapid charging out of the box. Xiaomi’s Redmi 11 Prime 5G is likely to ship with MIUI 13 on top of Android 12.
Considering that both smartphones have similar rear designs, the POCO M5 4G could be rebranded as the Redmi 11 Prime 4G when it launches on September 5th globally and in India.
In addition to mi.com and offline stores, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be available on Amazon.in.
