Many OEMs have already released their respective Android skins based on the Android 13 OS announced by Google earlier this month. OnePlus has already released OxygenOS 13 beta for the OnePlus 10 Pro. Likewise, Samsung has begun beta testing One UI 5.0, the latest iteration of its Android 13 skin. The public release of One UI 5.0 may take place in mid-October, according to a new leak.
Samsung One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 is expected to be released either on October 17 or October 19 (via Sammobile). Initially, the update will be available for Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra models.
A beta program for One UI 5.0 began two weeks ago, so October seems like a reasonable date to release the final version. With more than a month to go until the expected launch, Samsung has time to fix any unforeseen bugs.
We recommend you take the news with a pinch of salt since there is no official word on the release of One UI 5.0.
One UI 5.0 will introduce a number of customization, security, and accessibility features. In the new version, users can select from 16 preset colour themes based on their wallpaper. In order to save space on the home screen, widgets can be stacked on top of each other.
Additionally, multilingual users will be able to set different preferred languages per app on the OS. Additionally, it will be able to block distracting notifications from apps.
