There have long been rumours that Google is developing a new smartwatch, the Pixel Watch. According to a new report, the smart wearable will launch alongside the Pixel 7 series and even reveal a price tag.
9To5Google reported the expected price of the upcoming Pixel Watch for the US market. A report indicates that the Pixel Watch will be available in two variants: Bluetooth-only and LTE. There is an expected price tag of around $399 (Rs.31,800/-) for the new Pixel Watch in the US, although this is for the LTE-enabled version.
Therefore, the Bluetooth-only model’s price is unknown, but it is likely to be slightly cheaper than the LTE model. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 LTE costs 329 dollars, while the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro costs 499 dollars. For its cellular-enabled version, the Apple Watch Series 7 LTE costs 499 US Dollars.
In other words, the Pixel Watch will compete with high-end smartwatches from established brands. It appears that the new Pixel Watch will run on Wear OS, which supports Google Assistant, Google Maps, and other Google services. In addition, the device will be powered by a 300mAh battery, which may last for one day.
