Earlier this year, Apple launched the iPhone SE 2022. Apple’s new iPhone is a budget device for the global market. Featuring an A15 Bionic chip, the iPhone SE 3 aka iPhone SE 5G is priced at Rs 43,900 for the base 64GB model.
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 will have the same form factor as the iPhone XR, according to tipster Jon Prosser. In the SE 4, we might finally see a bigger display if Apple shares its design language with the XR. During a podcast with Andru Edwards & Jon Rettinger, Prosser shared the details. According to the tipster, Apple will finally retire the iPhone 5s-inspired design of the original SE. Design-wise, the SE 4 will be similar to the iPhone XR when it launches.
In other words, the budget iPhone might say goodbye to the thick bezels around the display, which also housed Touch ID. Face ID will also be available on the SE 4, which will be a first for this line of phones. The smaller bezels also mean that the display will be bigger at 6.1 inches. Apple may offer the SE 4 with an LCD display instead of an OLED display.
It is also likely that the SE 4 will have a great battery life if it is also a rebooted iPhone XR. One of the best features of the iPhone XR was its long-lasting battery life, which easily lasted a day. Compared with the SE 2022, its reputation isn’t as good. According to Apple, the SE 3 can play videos for up to 15 hours.
