It has been rumoured since last July that Xiaomi would launch a 200MP camera, and according to one leaked photo, that is finally happening.
In an image on Phonandroid, a camera island with a black protruding square housing the main camera looked similar to the Redmi K50 Ultra. A source claims the photo is of a phone called Xiaomi 12T Pro, and the setup has “200 MP” written on it.
Considering Xiaomi regularly relaunches its Redmi products on the global market under different names, we’re quite confident it will be relaunched as a 12T Pro. We expect a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip if the company changes the camera but keeps the rest of the specs.
Redmi K50 Ultra model number is 22081212C, whereas the alleged 12T Pro is 22081212UG – the difference is the last letter, revealing the market designation. Following the Moto X30 Pro, this will be the second phone with a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor.
