Samsung is about to announce the next cheap 5G smartphone for India and the global region with Galaxy A23 5G. Previously we had spotted the alleged Galaxy A23 5G passing through Geekbench and various listings. Now the device is been spotted on one of the retailer listings revealing the pricing details.
As per the listing, the new Galaxy A23 5G will arrive in three colors White, Black, and Light Blue. The listing just mentions a 64GB storage variant we might even have the 128GB storage variant too. The new Galaxy A23 5G will cost €300 (Rs.24,500/-) in Europe.
As of now, there are no details about the launch of the new Galaxy A23 5G.
As per the listing on Geekbench, the new Galaxy A23 5G which is listed as SM-A36U is running on Android 12 OS out of the box. Further, the listing revealed that the Galaxy A23 5G model is US Variant & no word about the European or Indian variant at the moment. The new Galaxy A23 5G is powered by the most popular SD695 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage.
Do note that Samsung might also bring 6GB/8GB RAM variants with 128GB storage. Previously we saw the 3D renders showing the Galaxy A23 5G in full glory. Now we have to wait for the official launch which might happen via press release soon.
The new Galaxy A23 5G will come with a known design and looks almost similar to the Galaxy A33 5G. Yes, the Galaxy A23 5G will come with the same waterdrop notch at the front with thicker bezels surrounding the display. In a similar fashion to the newly leaked Galaxy A33 5G, the Galaxy A23’s back cameras are arranged in a raised camera bump.
In addition to the power button and volume rocker, the Galaxy A23 5G sports a USB-C port at the bottom. To listen to music, you’ll need to use USB-C or Bluetooth earphones. The SIM Card slot is placed on the left. It measures 8.5mm thick with a camera bump of 10.3mm thick.
The source revealed that Galaxy A23 5G will sport 6.4 inches flat display on the front. The device features a 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP dual macro plus depth sensor. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support. The Galaxy A23 5G will be launching later next month.
