Samsung is about to introduce two new Android Wear platform-based smartwatches with Galaxy Watch 5 & Galaxy Watch5 Pro. Ahead of the launch we already got the color and various sizes of the new Galaxy Watch 5 & Galaxy Watch5 Pro leaked. We even got the expected pricing details for the new Galaxy Watch 5 & Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
Now one of the retailers has listed the Galaxy Watch 5 & Galaxy Watch5 Pro on their website which reveals the pricing details. As per the listing, the new Galaxy Watch 5 gets slightly cheaper than its predecessor which will cost around  €259 (Rs.21,300/-) for the 40mm Bluetooth-only variant & €286 (Rs.23,500/-) for the 44mm variant.
The premium Galaxy Watch5 Pro gets a price bump this year which will now cost €430 (Rs.35,100/-) for the 45mm Bluetooth-only variant. Prices are provided by a “reputable European retailer”, which usually has accurate pricing. You should, however, remain vigilant.
Both the new Samsung Galaxy Watch5 & Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro will no longer come with a rotating dial this year. Sadly, both the device looks identical to each other but comes in different sizes. The new Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series look similar to any other watch with a circular dial featuring an almost bezel-less display. There is a power button along with the back key on the right.
A successor to last year’s Galaxy Watch4 Classic, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will be available in black or gray titanium colors with LTE or Bluetooth connectivity. While the Watch5 is shown in its 44mm size, we can expect a smaller 40mm version at launch as well. Black, blue, and white will be the colors available for Watch5.
Both watches have Sapphire Crystal displays, 5ATM water resistance, and GPS on board. A microphone and two buttons are located on the side. One UI Watch 4.5 will run on top of Google wearOS 3.5 on both watches.
