HTC has finally announced its first smartphone for 2022 with the new HTC Desire 22 Pro. The new HTC Desire 22 Pro is the first smartphone to come with a built-in VIVERSE metaverse platform. With the new HTC Desire 22 Pro you can easily trade digital assets on the VIVERSE market and create various shared virtual spaces.
Create a VIVE avatar easily, and support full-body avatars according to the VRM standard. With customized virtual avatars, users can travel freely through art exhibitions, concerts, business meetings, and other virtual activities and experiences in the VIVERSE environment.
VIVE Wallet allows users to manage their virtual assets in a safe and simple way. They can also directly access VIVERSE Market to purchase NFTs; in the future, their NFTs can become their digital assets in VIVERSE Pass, regarded as their own assets.
Design:
The new HTC Desire 22 Pro 5G will sport a center punch-hole display on the front with almost slimmer bezels. On the back, the HTC Desire 22 Pro 5G comes with a polycarbonate panel with a unique texture carrying four rear cameras with LED flash. The Power button also doubles up as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with volume rockers located towards the right of the device.
Specs:
The HTC Desire 22 Pro sports 6.6 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It becomes the first-ever HTC phone powered by SD695 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with a microSD card slot.
The HTC Desire 22 Pro features a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP Ultra-wide sensor with a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture & LED flash. It features a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G, Dual Band Wifi, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port. Both the HTC Desire 22 Pro come with a 4520 mAh battery with 18W fast charging & 15W Wireless with reverse wireless charging support. It measures 9.4 mm thick and weighs over 205g. It also gets an IP67 rating making it water-resistant.
HTC Desire 22 Pro comes in Gold and Midnight Black colors. It is priced at NT$11,990 (Rs.31,900/-) in Taiwan.
