The Pixel 7 Pro is slated to launch later this year and will be the company’s most premium offering for 2022. Many new details have been revealed about the device’s prototype ahead of its launch.

The Google News Telegram channel managed to gain some details from a user who had access to a prototype of the Pixel 7 Pro. Google has already bricked the device. In spite of this, community members managed to extract some new information from boot logs.

According to the latest leaks, the 7 Pro has a Samsung S6E3HC4 display. The Pixel 6 Pro, on the other hand, had a Samsung S6E3HC3 panel. There will be no change in the Pixel 7 Pro’s resolution from 3120 x 1440.

According to the prototype, the second-generation Tensor chip will be a 2 + 2 + 4 cluster setup. According to the log files, Google may continue using the Cortex-A55 cores for low-power background tasks.

The phone also has an NFC chip and CS40l26 haptic driver. Furthermore, the logs reveal that the 7 Pro has been codenamed Cheetah. Panda is the codename of the Pixel 7. The rest of the details remain a mystery.
