In the past, we saw Samsung not doing good in terms of chipset as many users complained about weak performance & heating issues. We have got a new report about Samsung’s plans to take the Apple A-series chipset by starting of 2025. Yes, Samsung is now working on its custom chipset for the 2025 version of the Galaxy S series.
As per the report, Samsung officials aren’t happy about the issues faced by Galaxy S22 users of the GOS Scandal. The insufficient yields and poor thermal management of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 chipsets. Now the report states Samsung is planning a similar approach as Apple doing with the A-series chipset.
At the moment there are no details available for the new custom chipset from Samsung. More details will be out in the coming months. With Samsung already killing the custom Samsung CPU cores in 2020. It will be interesting to see whether the new chipset will be part of Exynos or some new lineup.
