POCO is back with its first flagship launch for India with the new F-series aka POCO F4 5G. Previously we saw POCO introducing the POCO F4 GT for global markets last month. Now probably we have the second aka cheaper POCO F4 on the way to Indian shores. Recently POCO official has confirmed that POCO F4 will land in India pretty sooner than expected.
We also got the official teaser teasing the letter F4 on Twitter which further confirms the POCO F4 series is on the way to India. Now we have spotted the alleged POCO F4 listed on FCC that reveals the first look of the device. From the leaks, the new POCO F4 turns out to be another rebranded smartphone aka the Redmi K40S. Yes, the POCO F4 looks similar to the previously launched Redmi K40S in China.
Further, the same source confirms that POCO F4 launching later next month in India.
Redmi K40S:
Redmi K40S 5G comes with an almost similar design as the Redmi K50 series and the only difference is in terms of processor. The new Redmi K40S comes with a 3D curved frosted glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both devices measure 7.7 mm thick and weigh 195 grams.
The Redmi K40S 5G sport the new AMOLED 6.67 inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and HDR 10+ support. Redmi K40S 5G is powered by new SD870G SoC with Snapdragon X52 modem for 5G. The Redmi K40S 5G comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage version.
The new Redmi K40S 5G features triple-rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.89, OIS support, 8MP 120-degrees Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with a 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 960fps. The Redmi K40S 5G comes with a single selfie camera with a 20MP sensor.
The new Redmi K40S will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with an IR blaster. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6e, Dual Frequency GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, & Bluetooth 5.2 support. The Redmi K40S also features a 1217 Linear Speaker along with Smart PA & Dolby Atmos support.
The Redmi K40S 5G packs a 4500 mAh battery with 67W (5G) fast charging support. The new Redmi K40S runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. The new Redmi K40S 5G will arrive in Black, Silver, Iridescent, and Green colors.
