Looks like Oppo is all set to lock the launch date for the upcoming Reno8 series which was launched recently in China. In the past, we saw various leaks hinting about the Oppo Reno8 series soon landing in India next. Now we have a new report that reveals further details about the new Oppo Reno8 series in India.
As per the source, the new Oppo Reno8 series will hit Indian shore along with the recently launched budget tab Oppo Pad Air. The source further adds that for India Oppo will rebrand the Oppo Reno8 Pro as Oppo Reno8 whereas the Oppo Reno8 Pro+ as Oppo Reno8 Pro. Sadly, there will be no Oppo Reno8 for India which was introduced in China.
Lastly, the report adds that the Oppo Reno8 series along with Oppo Pad Air will land in India later next month or in July. More details about the new Oppo Reno8 series will be out in the coming weeks.
Oppo Reno8 Pro & Oppo Reno8 Pro+:
The next is the premium Oppo Reno8 Pro series with Oppo Reno8 Pro & Oppo Reno8 Pro+. The new Oppo Reno8 Pro & Oppo Reno8 Pro+ looks identical in terms of design & comes with slight changes.
On the back, both the Oppo Reno8 Pro & Oppo Reno8 Pro+ features a huge Oppo Find X5 styled camera module carrying two huge sensors one above the other. There is another cutout placed on the right which carries dual cameras with LED flash below it.
On the front, the new Oppo Reno8 Pro features a traditional left-sided punch-hole notch with thinner bezels on all sides. Whereas the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ comes with a center punch-hole display with slimmer bezels on all the sides.
The USB Type-C port with speaker mesh is placed on the bottom. The power button is on the right whereas the volume rockers are on the left of the device.
Specs:
The Oppo Reno8 Pro+ will have a premium build with an aluminum frame & glass back. It will arrive in green, gray and black colors. The device measures 7.34 mm thick & weighs 183g.
The new Oppo Reno8 Pro+ will sport BOE made 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The device is now powered by the latest MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 Max SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It also gets the custom Oppo’s MariSilicon X co-processor.
The Oppo Reno8 Pro+ will feature triple rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS support. It comes with 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, 120-degrees FoV & 2MP macros sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The Oppo Reno8 Pro+ features a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
It packs a 4500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It will also feature dual speakers and an X-linear motor. The device runs on Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12 on top.
