Google I/O is here and we have lots of new products announced at the event today. After the affordable Pixel Buds A, we now have the most premium Pixel Buds Pro announced in the US. The new Pixel Buds Pro will arrive in Coral, Lemongrass, Fog, and Charcoal colors.
The new Pixel Buds Pro looks similar to Pixel Buds which were launched last year. The new Pixel Buds Pro comes with a custom 6-core audio processor along with a custom algorithm to cancel out the noise. The buds also come with a unique Silent Seal that takes the shape of the ear which helps to block the noise.
The new Pixel Buds Pro comes with 11mm drivers with Volume EQ that adjust the audio tuning based on the volume level. There is also 5-band EQ to customize the sound further. The new Pixel Buds Pro will also feature a transparency mode that will allow the ambient sound so that you don’t miss the alert without taking out the buds.
Google has also included the pressure sensor in the buds which helps to measure pressure in the ear. This indirectly helps to feel comfortable while using the buds. Google will also enable spatial audio that will be pushed out through an OTA update later this year.
The remaining features include beamforming microphones, voice accelerometer, wind-blocking mesh covers, multipoint connectivity, touch controls, and hands-free Google Assistant support. The buds come with an IPX4 rating whereas the case with IPX2 is certified.
The new Pixel Buds Pro comes with 11 hours of battery life without ANC & 7 hours with ANC support. The buds with case give almost 20 hrs with ANC & 31 hrs without.
The Pixel Buds Pro will cost $199.99 (Rs.15,900) in the US. It will go on sale from July 21.
