Sony is about to bring the next flagship for 2022 with the new Sony Xperia 1 IV on May 12. Ahead of the launch we already got the alleged pricing details of the new Sony Xperia 1 IV leaked. Now we have the complete specs sheet with renders of the new Sony Xperia 1 IV leaked by the popular tipster.

The new Xperia 1 IV reminds us of the predecessor as it looks similar to it. It features triple rear cameras with a ToF sensor aligned vertically and the arrangement is similar to Xperia Pro. It comes with premium metal chassis with a glossy glass back. The Sony Xperia IV will also feature a microSD card slot along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It measures 8.2 mm thick and weighs 187g.

The new Sony Xperia 1 IV will sport the World’s first 6.5 inches 4K HDR OLED panel on the front. Do note that the massive 4K panel will even come with a 120Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ and 10bit color depth support. It also features TRILUMINOS Display for mobile, X-Reality for mobile, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on both the front and back of the device. The display on the new Xperia 1IV is almost 50% brighter than its predecessor.
The new Sony Xperia 1 IV is powered by SD 8Gen 1 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB storage space. It will feature triple rear cameras with 12MP (f/1.7) 1/1.7″ Exmor RS main 82-degrees main lens coupled with 12MP 1/2.9” Exmor RS ultra-wide with f/2.3 aperture and 12MP periscopic telephoto lens with 60x lossless zoom along with a 3D iToF sensor. The device comes with 16mm ultra-wide, 24mm wide, 85-125mm telephoto.
It gets 12.5x Hybrid zoom with RGB-IR and OIS support. The rear camera can record a 4K HDR movies recording 24, 25, 30, 60, and 120fps slow-motion. It also gets Optical SteadyShot with FlawlessEye 14, and SteadyShot with Intelligent Active Mode (5-axis stabilization) support. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
It runs on Android 12 OS with Sony UI on top. It also features IP65/68 rating which makes the device dust and water-resistant.
