Vivo is all set to launch another premium flagship smartphone series with the new Vivo X80 series soon. In the past, we got enough leaks and rumors about the new Vivo X80 series. Now we finally got the official launch details for the new Vivo X80 series. Yes, Vivo has now officially confirmed the launch date for the much-awaited Vivo X80 series.

As per the teaser, the Vivo X80 series will look a lot similar to Vivo X Note with the same curved punch-hole display on the front. On the back, the new Vivo X80 features a huge circular camera module carrying triple-cameras similar to Vivo X Note with Zeiss branding.

The Vivo X80 Pro features a similar design but comes with a quad-camera setup i.e the additional telephoto lens. The front of the Vivo X80 Pro comes with a dual-curved display similar to its predecessor. At the end of the video, Vivo reveals that the Vivo X80 series will hit China on April 25 at 19:00 China local time.

The Vivo X80 will sport 6.78 inches LTPO FHD+ AMOLED display. The top-end Vivo X80 Pro will sport larger 6.78 inches QHD+ LTPO AMOLED Samsung E5 display. Both of them will come with HDR10+, in-display fingerprint & 120Hz refresh rate support. It also comes with Schott 3D glass protection on top.

Both the new Vivo X80 & Vivo X80 Pro to be powered by new MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB/512GB storage. Both of them feature larger 4,300mm2 VC liquid-cooled support.

The Vivo X80 will feature a 50MP main Samsung GN5 sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide & 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. The Vivo X80 Pro features a 50MP Samsung JN1 main along with a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide coupled with a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens, 2x zoom, Gimbal OIS & 8MP telescopic sensor with 5X optical zoom, OIS support. The Vivo X80 & Vivo X80 Pro will feature a 32MP selfie shooter.

The other connectivity options include dual stereo speakers, NFC, an x-axis linear motor, IR blaster. The Vivo X80 features IP53 whereas the Vivo X80 Pro with an IP58 rating making it dust & water-resistant. The new Vivo X80 series will run on Android 12 OS with Origin OS on top.

The Vivo X80 packs a 4500 mAh battery whereas the Vivo X80 Pro with 4700 mAh battery. Both of them will come with 80W fast charging support.
