Looks like we finally got the massive leak revealing the details of the new Oppo Reno8. Previously the tipster had leaked the first press image along with some details of the Oppo Reno8. Now the popular tipster has revealed the specs of the new Oppo Reno8 which might surprise many.
As per the source, the Oppo Reno8 series might turn out to be the first company to use the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. Yes, Qualcomm’s much delayed mid-range chipset Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC will finally make its debut with the Oppo Reno8 series. Sadly, we don’t know the exact model name under the Oppo Reno8 series at the moment.
The new Oppo Reno8 series will also include MediaTek Dimensity flagship SoC-powered devices too. So the Oppo Reno8 series will also come with Dimensity 8000/8100 SoC or 9000 SoC. The tipster also confirmed that the Oppo Reno8 series will also arrive with custom NPU aka MariSilicon X.
The source revealed that the model under Oppo Reno8 series aka PGAM10 will sport 6.55 inches OLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The source revealed that Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC will arrive with four Cortex-A710 and four A510 cores. It will come with the same Adreno 630 GPU from the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Further, the device features a 50MP main Sony IMX766 sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. It comes with a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The device ships with a 4500 mAh battery with 80W fast charge support.
