Looks like we have bad news for those waiting for the affordable flagship Galaxy S22 FE. In the past, we saw various reports hinting that Samsung might ditch Qualcomm & its very own Exynos SoC. We also got a report that the new Galaxy S23 series will be powered by a MediaTek processor.
Now the latest report from two tipsters reveals that Samsung might never launch any flagship powered by a MediaTek processor at all. Yes, both the tipster confirmed that Galaxy S22 FE will never get Dimnesity 9000 SoC variant at all nor in the future. Instead, Samsung has plans to ship the device with its very own Exynos 2200 SoC instead.
Further another report claimed that Samsung has almost 20% of devices powered by Exynos SoC and wants to make it near 60% later this year. So we can expect the new Galaxy S22 FE & Galaxy S23 series will still carry the Exynos & Qualcomm variant for sure. Nothing is going to change as of now.
