Samsung has finally launched the much-awaited Galaxy M53 5G for global regions. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal the pricing or the availability at the moment. We expect that the Galaxy M53 5G will be landing in India later this month. It will be available in three colors Brown, Blue, and Green.
Design:
The new Galaxy M53 5G will sport the same center punch-hole display with slimmer bezels on the front. The power button which also doubles up as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with the volume rocker is on the right.
Further, the back of the device features quad-cameras under the square-shaped camera module. The design is almost similar to Galaxy M33 5G with no change at all.
Specs:
The Galaxy M53 5G will sport a larger 6.7 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The most disappointing factor is the downgrade of the processor on the Galaxy M53 5G which will now ship with Dimensity 900 SoC. Yes, the device just got a major downgrade in terms of performance. Further, the device comes in two storage variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. It also gets microSD card slot for further storage expansion.
With the performance downgrade, we have some major upgrades in terms of cameras on Galaxy M53 5G. Now the Galaxy M53 5G might become the first mid-range phone from Samsung to ship with a 108MP main sensor. It will be coupled with 8MP ultra-wide coupled with dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor. It will feature a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.2, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy M53 5G runs on Android 12 OS with One UI 4.1 on top.
All this is backed by the same 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
