In the past, we spotted the alleged Motorola Edge 30 passing through various listings. We even spotted the device on Geekbench & finally, we have the official renders of the new Motorola Edge 30. We even got the press images of the affordable Moto G 5G (2022) leaked by Evan Blass.
Motorola Edge 30:
As per the source, the new Motorola Edge 30 will come with an identical design which we have already seen with Motorola Edge 30 Pro. Yes, the Motorola Edge 30 will look similar to Motorola Edge 30 Pro with the same center punch-hole flat display on the front. On the back, the oval-shaped triple camera setup is aligned vertically with an LED flash.
Further, the device gets a glass back with a glossy finish similar to its elder brother. We can confirm that Motorola Edge 30 will come with an IP5X rating making it splash resistant. The source also revealed some of the key specs of the device. The new Motorola Edge 30 is running on the latest Android 12 OS out of the box. It is now powered by the new SD778G+ SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM & 128GB/256GB.
The Motorola Edge 30 will sport a 6.5 inches pOLED FHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate support. On the back, the device features a dual 50MP sensor with a 2MP depth sensor and LED flash. It will pack a 4200 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.
Moto G 5G (2022):
Moto G 5G (2022) looks similar to Motorola Edge 30 but comes with a polycarbonate body. It is the successor to last year’s launched Moto G 5G. The device will sport 6.53 inches HD+ 90Hz refresh rate IPS LCD display. It comes with MediaTek Dimensity 200 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM & 64GB/128GB storage. It also gets microSD card slot support.
The Moto G 5G (2022) will feature a 50MP main sensor with dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor & LED flash. The Moto G 5G (2022) packs a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support.
