In the past, we saw various leaks about Qualcomm moving out of Samsung foundries as they are facing manufacturing the chipset. We also got to know that TSMC will be soon making the new chipset that will be named Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC. In the past, we already got the leak revealing the key specs of the chipset.
Now we have the new leak arriving right from China that reveals the first device which is going to launch with this new chipset. Yes, again the first flagship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC will be making its debut in China. Sadly, there are no details about the device that will arrive with this new chip.
But various leaks point out that the new OnePlus 10 Ultra might turn out to be the world’s first smartphone shipping with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC. The first device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC will be launching sometime in June in China. So we can expect Qualcomm to make an announcement by end of May.
