Realme has recently introduced the first flagship for 2022 with Realme GT 2 & Realme GT 2 Pro for global markets. Now the company is looking to expand the device to Asian regions soon. So finally, Realme Indonesia has now started teasing the new Realme GT 2 series launch.
As per the source, Realme Indonesia has officially revealed the launch details for the new Realme GT 2 series. The new Realme GT 2 series is confirmed to launch on March 22 in Indonesia. Now the tipster has confirmed that Realme usually launches the device both in Indonesia and India at the same time. So the source expects that Realme GT 2 series might even launch on the same date in India.
As of now we still don’t have any official confirmation for the same. But if this leak turns out to be true we might get the first teaser out as soon as tomorrow’s event.
Realme GT 2 series Design:
The new Realme GT 2 Pro & Realme GT 2 comes with a nearly bezel-less display on the front. There is a punch-hole located on the top-left corner of the display which is small in size.
The rear shell of the Realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition is made of SABIC’s LNP ELCRIN bio-based copolymer material, which has been certified by ISCC+. The LNP ELCRIN bio-based copolymer material provides two kilograms of CO2 reduction per kilogram compared to fossil-based alternatives. In addition, SABIC’s bio-based materials are derived from biomass waste or residue that does not compete with food chains, such as crude tall oil and hydrotreated vegetable oils.
The other image shows that a USB Type-C port with speaker mesh and SIM card tray is located on the bottom of the phone. The volume rockers along with the power button are on the right of the device. The Realme GT 2 Pro measures 8.18 mm thick & weighs 199g. The Realme GT 2 measures 8.6mm thick and weighs 199g.
As expected, the Realme GT 2 series looks completely different than the previously leaked renders. The new Realme GT 2 Pro & Realme GT 2 come with Realme GT Neo2 like camera setup featuring triple rear cameras. There are two huge sensors with a small third sensor and LED flash.
Realme GT 2 Pro:
The Realme GT 2 Pro gets a 6.7 inches QHD+ resolution AMOLED display on the front. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Yes, the device becomes the World’s First 2K AMOLED Flat Display with LTPO 2.0 Technology. It is equipped with advanced Corning Gorilla Glass Victus along with 10-bit color, HDR10+ & 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The Realme GT 2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC which is clocked at 3.0 GHz speed. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space. The device comes with the largest industrial heat dissipation area of 36761mm2 for up to 3℃ cooling to maximize the chip’s performance. The Realme GT 2 Pro gets an all-new 9-layer cooling structure with a 4129mm² Stainless Steel VC area.
The new Realme GT 2 Pro will arrive with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS on the back. Yes, the same sensor that the Oppo Find X3 Pro & OnePlus 9 Pro had. There is another 50MP ultra-wide Samsung ISOCELL JN1 shooter with 150-degrees FOV. Lastly, the device comes with a 40X Micro-lens Camera with an LED flash.
The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
The Realme GT 2 Pro packs a larger 5000 mAh battery with 65W Dart charging support. It runs on Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top. It also features an advanced Antenna Matrix System and Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo Speakers.
