Looks like OnePlus is not going to stop launching Nord smartphones in India anytime soon. After the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G we also have another on the way with OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. Now the source has confirmed that the company will also launch the upgraded variant of the OnePlus Nord 2 with OnePlus Nord 2T.
As per the source, OnePlus has now started testing out the new OnePlus Nord 2T in India. This means that the company might launch the device soon as it is already under the final stage. The source confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2T is codenamed, Karen. We can expect the device to launch anytime by April or May in India.
Further, the source also revealed that OnePlus Nord 2T will get a plastic frame and the back will be made out of sandstone finish. The source also got the schematics showing the camera module of the OnePlus Nord 2T. From the leaked image, we can see that OnePlus Nord 2T will get a slightly different camera module this time.
We can notice that OnePlus Nord 2T has two huger circular cutouts the above one is the main sensor. with warm flash beside it The second cut-out carries the ultra-wide along with depth/macro sensor. There is a cool flash beside the secondary camera cutout.

The new OnePlus Nord 2T will sport the same 6.43 inches FHD+ AMOLED display. It will sport a 90Hz refresh rate display after all. The device is now powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The device will stick to a similar camera setup as the original with a 50MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP monochrome sensor. It will support a 32MP selfie camera under the punch-hole display. It will pack a 4500 mAh battery and comes with faster 80W wired charging support.
The OnePlus Nord 2T will run on Android 12 OS with OxygenOS 12 out of the box. Sadly, no word about the launch details or pricing of the device. We expect the OnePlus Nord 2T will cost similar to the original.
