Google is all set to bring the successor to last year’s launched Pixel 5a with the new Pixel 6a later this year. Ahead of the launch, we already got the alleged renders showing the new Pixel 6a in full glory. We even spotted the alleged Pixel 6a passing through BIS and other certifications. Now finally the new Pixel 6a is been spotted on Geekbench.

As per the source, the new Pixel 6a is listed on Geekbnech which is running on the latest Android 12 OS out of the box. Yet again, the new Pixel 6a will be powered by a custom Tensor SoC which is coupled with 6GB RAM. Apart from this nothing much about the device is revealed.

The Pixel 6a secured 1,050 single-core points and 2,833 points under the multi-core test. Do note that the performance is similar to last year’s launched Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro.

Further, the popular tipster has also confirmed the news about Google delaying the launch of Pixel 6a. Yes, the popular tipster, has now confirmed that Google Pixel 6a will be again delayed this year due to ongoing chip shortages. If all doesn’t go according to the plan then Google will push the launch of Pixel 6a to late July 2022.

Pixel 6a:

Pixel 6a measures 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm, which is noticeably smaller than the regular Pixel 6, which measures 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm. Additionally, the camera should have a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor, 6/8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Speculation suggests that the chipset will be either the Google Tensor SoC like on the Pixel 6 duo or the Snapdragon 778G.
There is no headphone jack on Pixel 6a, so it would be the first A-series phone from Google without one. As for the software, Android 12 will cover the phone, and Google will probably provide at least three years of support.
