Xiaomi launched the new Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, & Xiaomi 12 Pro in China last year. It’s been almost two months and we are still waiting for the global launch of the Xiaomi 12 series. Previously we saw a few leaks hinting about Xiaomi 12 series could make its global debut later next month.
Now we have a new report that leaks the pricing and storage variant details of the Xiaomi 12 series. The new Xiaomi 12 will come in 8GB+128GB & 8GB+256GB storage options. It will cost between EUR 800 to EUR 900 (Rs.68,500/- to Rs.79,000/-) in Europe.
The top-end Xiaomi 12 Pro will arrive with 12GB+256GB & 8GB+256GB storage options. The Xiaomi 12 Pro costs between EUR 1000 to EUR 1200 (Rs.85,500/- to Rs.1,02,500/-) in Europe. Lastly, the cheaper Xiaomi 12X will arrive in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage options. It will cost anywhere between EUR 600 to EUR 700 (Rs.51,500/- to Rs.60,000/-) in Europe.
The new Xiaomi 12 series will arrive in three color variants Blue, Gray, and Purple colors.
Xiaomi 12:
Xiaomi 12 comes with a smaller 6.28 inches center punch-hole display on the front. It gets quad-curved edges with slimmer bezels surrounding the display. On the back, we got triple rear cameras which look similar to Oppo Reno6 series-like module. Further, we can notice the mention of 50MP on the camera module.
It measures 8.16mm thick & weighs 180g. The Xiaomi 12 sports a smaller 6.28 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1100-nits brightness.
The Xiaomi 12 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Xiaomi 12 will come with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi 12 features a 50MP f/1.9 aperture Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS support. It comes with 13MP ultra-wide sensor with a 123-degrees FOV along with a 5MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The device also features CyberFocus tech.
The official teaser already revealed that Xiaomi 12 will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. During the process of pixel-level skin rejuvenation, a generative adversarial network (GAN) reconstructs the skin’s details on a pixel-by-pixel basis, giving the skin a fresh and youthful appearance.
The Xiaomi 12 packs a 4500 mAh Cobalt Oxide battery with 67W fast wired & 30W wireless charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port along with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers powered by the Harmon Kardon. It runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12 OS out of the box.
Xiaomi 12 Pro:
The new Xiaomi 12 Pro will look identical to Xiaomi 12 in terms of design and comes with a quad-curved display. It measures 8.6mm thick & weighs 205g. The device got a glass back with metal chassis giving it a premium feel.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a larger 6.73 inches QHD+ AMOLED (3200 × 1440p) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1500-nits brightness.

The new Xiaomi 12X comes with 6.28 inches FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a center punch-hole. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate & 12-Bit color support. The device is powered by SD870 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128G/256GB storage. It measures 8.16mm thick & weighs 176g.
The device comes with a 20MP Samsung S5K3T2 selfie shooter on the front. It features triple rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide & 5MP telephoto lens with LED flash. The device comes with a premium 6-series aluminum alloy frame, X-linear motor support along Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It also features stereo speakers with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
