POCO is all set to announce the first device for 2022 with the new POCO M4 Pro 5G in India later today. Ahead of the launch POCO India Director Anuj Sharma has now revealed some interesting details about the upcoming POCO devices launching in India. Yes, Director Anuj Sharma has now given an exclusive Interview with Gadget 360.
As per the source, POCO Director has now confirmed to launch of the fourth-gen phones for all POCO models. Further, he also stated that they will surely add one new model under all POCO lineup. So we can consider that the following series will get the successor with Poco F, Poco X, Poco M, and Poco C series.
The source also mentioned that POCO is finding it hard to keep the pricing low in India. So the company has now planned to introduce new flagships priced around Rs.30,000 in India. With 5G being all set to launch later this year in select metro cities in India the company has now decided to launch many affordable 5G phones.
POCO India also confirmed that they are also working on the first TWS with POCO Pop Buds but the exact launch date is still a mystery.
“From a team perspective, one of our key priorities for 2022 is to go beyond phones. I don’t want to say anything, saying that we’ll definitely do it because we’ve been trying to do it for the last, I think, five quarters. And we’ve basically run into roadblocks, mostly internally saying that we don’t like it, or this is not really hitting that particular threshold”
