China apps

Looks like Govt of India is again planning to ban some more apps in the country. Yes, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has now banned almost 54 Chinese apps at Indian Google Play Store. It is sad to see that popular games like Garena Free Fire are also included in the list.

The Indian government has blocked apps from the Indian app store before. Between June, September, and November 2020, 219 Chinese apps were banned. TikTok, PUBG Mobile, Clash of Kings, Weibo, AliExpress, and even Xiaomi’s Mi Community app make the list.
The following apps will no longer be available on Google Play for Indian consumers starting today:
