In India, Akai has launched a new line of Fire TVs. These 4K HDR TVs come in three sizes: 43″, 50″, and 55″. A 32″ model is also available. The new arrivals come with LCD panels and LED backlighting, and support leading HDR standards, including HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision.

The 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch Fire TVs from Akai come in 4K resolution. LED-backlit UHD (3840 x 2160) screens provide Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG image quality. They are powered by Amlogic’s 9th Generation Imaging Engine. A refresh rate of 60 hertz is supported, and a viewing angle of 178 degrees is available.

Dolby Atmos and 20W speakers complement the TV’s visuals. This TV can also be connected to Amazon Echo smart speakers. It is powered by a 1.95GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage.

From the software perspective, you get Fire TV OS with Alexa voice control, DTH Set-Top Box integration, OTT apps (like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Disney+ Hotstar) as well as YouTube and other 5000+ apps from the integrated app store. Alexa Voice Remote lets you launch apps, search and play various content, control smart home devices, and enjoy Alexa Skills. There are three HDMI 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, as well as an IR port on the Akai 4K Fire TV. You can also control the TV with the Fire TV app on your iOS or Android device.

Amazon and other multi-brand stores will begin offering Akai 4K Fire TVs on February 15, 2022. The new Akai TV pricing starts at Rs.41,999/-.
