After the Chinese debut of the next iteration of custom skin aka MIUI 13. The company has officially unveiled the MIUI 13 for Global regions. Xiaomi has also announced the first set of devices that will run MIUI 13 out of the box with the Redmi Note 11 series. Now Xiaomi has revealed that it will start rolling out the MIUI 13 update right from Q1 of 2022.
Sadly, the company has not revealed the exact date for the update but has shared the list of devices that will get the update. The MIUI 13 has a new font called MiSans, part of Dynamic Font System 2.0. Just like iOS 14, it too comes with dynamic widget support, a feature that has been in testing since August 2021.
Liquid Storage reduces fragmentation and actively manages stored data, as well as improving defragmentation efficiency by up to 60%. Atomized Memory enhances RAM efficiency as well.
A Focused Algorithm helps allocate system resources based on the usage scenario, so the interface is fluid and responsive. It also prioritizes apps, so the CPU can work on important tasks.
A Smart Balance feature automatically balances performance and power consumption. A 10-percent improvement in battery life is also claimed. A greater focus on privacy is also part of the MIUI 13 release.
