After the massive leak revealing the detailed specs of the upcoming Y-series phone aka Vivo Y21e. We now have the device officially launched in India by the company. Yes, the Vivo Y21e turns out to be the cheapest Y-series phone launched in the country. The Vivo Y21e comes in two colors with Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue. It is already on sale through all leading offline retailers in India.
Design:
The new Vivo Y21e is probably another model or brother of Vivo Y33T which looks identical to each other in terms of design. The new Vivo Y21e comes with the same waterdrop display on the front with thicker bezels. The power button also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner is located on the right along with Volume rockers.
On the back, the Vivo Y21e features a triple rear camera arranged under the rectangular camera module. It comes in two colors with White & Blue. The USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh & 3.5mm audio jack will be located on the bottom. It measures 8.0mm thick & weighs 182g.
Specs:
The new Vivo Y21e sports 6.51 inches HD+ IPS LCD display. The Vivo Y21e is powered by SD680 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It comes with a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.
The device ships with a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture coupled with a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8MP selfie shooter under the waterdrop notch. All this is packed by 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support. It runs on Android 11 OS with FunTouch OS 11 on top.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port.
