Samsung is about to launch the new Galaxy A53 5G aka the first A-series smartphone for this year soon. Ahead of the launch we already got the specs & some CAD renders showing the device. Now finally the new Galaxy A53 5G has hit the TENAA listing which reveals the complete specs sheet along with renders of the device.
Design:
With the exception of a few minor refinements, the design has remained largely unchanged. The sides are less curved (but they are not fully flat either), and the camera hump now flows into the rear with a gentler curve, resulting in a more seamless transition from front to back.
Indeed, the phone measures 8.14 mm without the bump and 9.73 mm with it, which is less than one millimeter apart in both dimensions, according to the manufacturer (the A52 5G measures 8.4 mm). It weighs 190g.
Specs:
The new Galaxy A53 5G is listed as SM-A5360 which will sport 6.46 inches FHD+ AMOLED display. It will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The new Galaxy A53 5G is said to be powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz. But previous leaks suggested that Galaxy A53 5G is powered by Exynos 1200 SoC. Anyway, it is coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space with microSD card support.
The Galaxy A53 5G will stick to the same camera configuration as the Galaxy A52 5G. The listing reveals that Galaxy A53 5G will feature a 64MP main sensor coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide and dual 5MP macro plus depth sensor with LED flash. There is 32MP selfie shooter this time.
It packs a massive 4800 mAh battery so that we can round off a 5000 mAh battery. It will arrive in two colors as per TENAA with Blue & White.
